About Autotech

In Scranton, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Pennsylvania vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Autotech at (570) 343-7250; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 42 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Scranton and suggests consistent service.

Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Scranton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Literally the best mechanic in the area. His shop is absolutely pristine and equipped with top-of-the-line tools and equipment. He’s honest, straightforward, and takes the time to explain what’s wrong, giving you different repair options along with his professional opinion on the best way to proceed. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to him for several years, and I’ve never had a single issue. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and honest service.

If you’re looking for a good, honest mechanic this is the shop to go to. Guy replaced the struts and flushed my transmission fluid on my Nissan Rogue. The work was done in a timely manner and his pricing was more than fair (came in several hundred dollars less than what another garage quoted me). He was incredibly knowledgeable, and a genuinely solid human. I’m going to be getting my fixes at this shop from here on out and will be recommending anyone I know to check these guys out. Nice dudes, fair pricing, and my car drove like the day I drove it off the dealer’s lot when he was done. Highly recommend.

Amazingly honest mechanic he knew I needed to save money and he was able to tell me about a parts warranty so I saved the part fee on my repairs. Fix my car same day for a emergency appointment on top of his current work load.I'm beyond grateful to this man. Does good honest work give him your business.
